Consecration and Hoisting Sampa Lhundrup Prayer Flags on Guru Rinpoche Day
We are very happy to announce that today in Awam Lhasa Ling, Poland, Rinpoche and our dear sanghas are preparing for the hoisting ceremony of 1000 pieces Dagpai Shingchog Prayer Flags. Our dharma family in Poland had worked very hard for the past two weeks preparing the structure for the flags. The cost of building the structure is not cheap and this amount is fully sponsored by Ania and Wotjek’s family. Other than this sponsorship, Ania and Wotjek also sponsored their land for the placement of the flags. Wotjek and son, Jurek, worked hard by hand to build the structure with machinery and equipments. We are certainly extremely grateful for their kindness and support towards this project initiated by Rinpoche last June 2024.
Rinpoche and the sanghas conducted prayers, extensive Riwo Sangcho practice and the Sampa Lhundrup practice as early as 05:00 today.
All the sponsors’ names were written on the prayer flags and sponsors’ names and dedication messages were read out by Rinpoche in the blessing session. The final sponsors’ list will be uploaded to the official website very soon.
